“PTP” - Pit to Pit
Otherwise known as the “bust” - measurements are taken across the top from armpit to armpit
“STH” - Shoulder to Hem
Otherwise known as the “length” - measurements are taken from the shoulder to hem
“STS” - Shoulder to Shoulder
Otherwise known as the “back width” - measurements are taken between the back shoulder seams; in cases where there are no sleeve seams, the measurements will be taken taut as close to the “imaginary” seams as possible for the most accurate fit
“SLV” - Sleeve
Otherwise known as “sleeve length” - measurements are taken between the sleeve seam at shoulder to the bottom sleeve hem (both long and short sleeves); in cases where there are no sleeves/sleeveless, the SLV measurement will be left blank
“W” - Waist
Otherwise known as “waist band” - measurements are taken flat across the top of waist band and doubled (e.g. 13” measured flat will be equivalent to a 26” waist); for stretch/easy pants, measurements will be taken both flat and pulled taut (e.g. 14”-18”)
“H” - Hips
Otherwise known as “hip width” - measurements are taken flat across the hip width at fly-base and doubled (e.g. 20” is equivalent to 40” hip width)
“R” - Rise
Otherwise known as “front rise” - measurements are taken from the bottom of the front crotch seam to the top of the waist band
